Dimitris Sarantos left spikes for Eleni Tsolaki after their collaboration ended. Speaking on the panel of the “Super Katerina” show, the radio producer made it clear that they do not maintain any contact and admitted he was disappointed when he was removed from her morning show on OPEN.

“We have no communication or contact. I can’t say otherwise because I’m honest. We didn’t have a good working relationship that year and I’ve mentioned it before. That’s why somewhere in the middle of the season I moved to Katerina Zarifi’s show, because I was already disappointed,”

Then he stressed that this particular season was special and he did not want to blame it on one person. “It was a strange year. I don’t know who was more to blame and I never blamed Helen or the editor-in-chief exclusively. However, the host, as the head of a show, always has a share of the blame,” he said.

He said there were moments when he observed from the control room what was happening, forming an overall picture of the situation. However, he did not want to target anyone in particular. “We haven’t had a fight, it’s just that our relationship is not good. But if there is communication on her part, I believe we will work it out. I don’t hold grudges, but I don’t see any reason for me to take the first step,” he added.

He concluded by expressing his annoyance at the attitude of some people in the industry. “I don’t like public relations for the public eye. There are people who say the best in front of the cameras, but behind them they speak differently. I think Helen should appreciate my honesty and be more careful about who she is around,” he concluded.
