Mariolena Roumelioti referred to an earlier holiday with her friend, describing how they then led to a break-up with Sakis Katsoulis due to jealousy. As she said, a single unanswered phone call was the reason for tension, with him thinking of traveling to the island where he was.
The couple gave a joint interview on the show “In the arms of Fanis” on Friday night, April 24, where they spoke openly about moments of jealousy in their relationship, their expecting child and their marriage.
Mariolena Roumelioti described the incident: “The most intense scene of jealousy was when I went on holiday with a friend. Then we broke up. I didn’t expect it, because I had told him -because he was a soldier- that if he has a problem I won’t go. He said he trusted me. One time I didn’t pick up the phone and he went to come to the island to find me.”
He admitted that he had searched his mobile phone in the past, but clarified that it belonged to the past: “I had searched it years ago and found nothing. I wouldn’t go through that process anymore.”
