A record number of applications were recorded this year on the platform of the Social Tourism Programme of the Public Employment Service (PES), confirming the very high interest of citizens and the need for effective support and access to quality holidays, according to a statement.
300,000 vouchers will be granted from this year’s total number of applications, with the aim of helping as many beneficiaries as possible and supporting domestic tourism activity.
It is noted that, last year, applications amounted to 535,864, of which, to date, 132,590 uses have been made, given that the programme is ongoing.
As stated in the announcement, the increased participation is a sign of confidence in the programs of the DYPA and, at the same time, reinforces the commitment of the Service to continuously upgrade and expand the actions provided.
