A 26-year-old Turkish man was arrested yesterday afternoon, Tuesday, March 14, in Rafina under a red notice issued by the Turkish authorities for premeditated murder.
In particular, as announced by the ELAS, police officers of the Direct Action, during their patrol in the Rafina area, located the 26-year-old man and considered him a suspect.
During a check of his documents, it was revealed that he has a pending red notice from the Turkish authorities, as he is accused of shooting a fellow citizen in August 2023, while riding a motorcycle in a region of Turkey, resulting in his fatal injury.
The arrested man was initially taken to the Rafina-Pikermio Crime Investigation and Detection Department and then to the competent prosecuting authority.
