Police are seeking information about a fatal car crash that occurred on Monday morning, April 13, 2026, in the area of Heliopolis.
Specifically, at around 08:05, at the junction of Pyrronos and Kleanthous streets, a motorcycle veered off course, struck the curb and then overturned on the roadway.
The driver was seriously injured and succumbed to his injuries a few hours later that afternoon.
As part of the investigation, police are looking into the possible involvement of a green-coloured, fairly faded passenger car, which is believed to have been first released around 1999. According to the police, the vehicle has radial wheel covers (tassie) and no cap on the gas tank.
