Around midnight on Good Friday, a fire broke out in a garbage truck parked in a depot in Piraeus, causing the fire brigade to raise the alarm.
More specifically, the fire broke out shortly after 12:00 at night, inside a garbage truck, causing it to quickly spread to adjacent vehicles parked inside the Piraeus depot.
A total of 16 firefighters with 7 vehicles rushed to the scene to bring the flames under control.
The fire completely destroyed the garbage truck and caused serious damage to the adjacent vehicles.
So far, the cause of the fire remains unknown and is under investigation.
