Aris Portosalte showed his more sensitive side on Thursday afternoon on SKAI’s Live You during the connection with Istanbul.
The reason for this emotional charge of the journalist and presenter were the words shared with the audience of the newscast by Metropolitan Athenagoras of Kydonia.
More specifically, with eyes dumbfounded at the flow of His Eminence’s speech, Aris Portosalte first confided that “in this moral context, I want to say how much, when I see you now in this hall, I am moved and I remember my childhood. Because the socialization of this, always small community of the Romanians of the city always takes place in these halls that are next to the temple.”
“Wherever Christmas, Easter and all holidays, there, all the people gather to celebrate together. And they become family. Now, of course, in Big Stream I can say that the hall is classy, but in every community there is a corresponding hall.”
“If some moments, a few, I’ve seen you get emotional, always, those moments are about Istanbul,” Maria Anastasopoulou underlined, a few seconds later, with her TV partner admitting, visibly moved, that “it makes a lot of sense, a lot.”
