The sum of €61,505,000 is to be deposited in the bank accounts of 54,260 beneficiaries from today, Monday to Friday 15 May.

The payments will be made as part of the scheduled payments of the e-EFKA and the Public Employment Service (PES).

More specifically, the Ministry of Labour and Social Security said in a statement:

From e-EFKA:

  • From 11 to 15 May, 20,500,000 euros will be paid to 900 beneficiaries following the issuance of decisions on one-off payments.
  • On 14 May, €205,000 will be paid to 160 beneficiaries for OAEE benefits.

The following will be paid by the DYPA:

  • 19,000,000 euros to 31,000 beneficiaries for payment of unemployment and other benefits.
  • €1,500,000 to 2,200 mothers for subsidised maternity leave.
  • EUR 19,000,000 to 18,000 beneficiaries under subsidised employment schemes.
  • EUR 1,300,000 to 2,000 beneficiaries under subsidised schemes.
