Last Tuesday night, there was a shocking incident in Kypseli as a 45-year-old man, after attempting to hit an 8-year-old girl, then attacked an elderly man with a metal pipe.
The incident took place on Drosopoulou Street in Kypseli, at a bus stop. The 45-year-old foreigner approached the minor and tried to hit her, resulting in her mother and other passers-by stopping him.
After the 8-year-old was safely removed, the 45-year-old grabbed a metal pipe and hit a 72-year-old man in the head who happened to be passing by.
A report was immediately made to authorities and officers arrested him a short time later.
As a result of the investigation, it turned out that the 45-year-old has been a concern to authorities before.
He has even been given a restraining order to appear at the police station once a month as he was convicted of drug cases.
