The 2026 Panhellenic Examinations for General High School candidates continued today, Wednesday, June 3, with the Orientation Group classes. Students of Humanities were tested in Ancient Greek, candidates of Science and Economics – Computer Science in Mathematics, while students of Health Studies in Biology.
In Mathematics, the subjects were marked slightly harder than last year’s, with a clear gradation of difficulty and several references to the textbook. The theory was considered accessible, however the fourth topic and particularly question D4 was aimed at very well prepared students. Teachers noted that candidates with a good knowledge of the material and fluency in calculations were able to meet the demands of the examination effectively.

In terms of Biology, the topics covered a large proportion of the syllabus and had a clear gradation of difficulty. Subjects C and D were found to be more challenging than last year, requiring combined thinking and use of knowledge from different chapters.
Over all, teachers felt that today’s topics were well structured, with graded difficulty and a clear focus on meaningful understanding of the material, giving an advantage to candidates who had prepared in depth and were able to manage their time effectively.
