They turned night into day in Vrontados, Chios, where the custom of rocket warfare was finally held.
Thousands of rockets lit up the sky carrying the hopeful message of the Resurrection on Holy Saturday night.
As politischios reports, the rocketeers of the two ecclesiastical parishes, Panagia Erithiani and St Mark’s, proceeded to launch rockets from their predetermined positions, in a context aimed at better organisation and the safe conduct of the evening.
According to alithia.gr, during the night of the Resurrection there were small outbreaks of fire in intermediate areas between the two parishes, which were immediately brought under control. According to the same publication, there was only one minor injury to a firefighter, while an ambulance of the ambulance service received a young man who participated in the throwing crews and felt unwell.

It is noted that, the custom of rocket fighting even hours before the Resurrection was in the air after six people were injured during preparations.
