A new, third extension has been granted to the deadline for submitting applications for the Social Tourism Programme of the DYPA, due to technical problems recorded on the platform and the increased demand.

According to ERT, the platform will remain open until midnight on Sunday, May 3, in order to give sufficient time for all interested parties to complete the process.

It is recalled that a one-day extension had already been granted, while a new extension of the deadline until April 29 was subsequently decided due to difficulties in submitting applications.

When does the programme start

The Social Tourism Programme will start on 18 May 2026, earlier than any other year, and will run for 13 months.

It is planned to make 300,000 vouchers available, with a total budget of €50 million.

With the voucher, beneficiaries can spend up to six nights in accommodation participating in the “register of providers” of the DYPA, with a small private contribution.
