The meeting of the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, at the Maximos Mansion, on the situation in the Greek market due to the crisis in the Middle East, in view of the Easter holidays, has been completed.

Government sources said there was a briefing on the price trend, intensive controls and the impact of the government’s recent initiatives on the Easter market, food and essentials, as well as on the fuel market.

It is noted that the meeting under the Prime Minister on the market trend and the response to the price spike is and will continue to be held on a weekly basis for as long as the crisis lasts.

The meeting was attended by Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos, Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance Thanos Petralias, Minister of Commerce Napoleon Maraveyias, President of the Authority for Consumer Protection and Market Supervision Despina Tsangari and Head of the Prime Minister’s Economic Office Michalis Argyrou.
