Fines totaling 105.000 euros for exceeding the cap on fuel profit margins.
Specifically, 2/3 of the petrol stations in Rhodes were checked. In 50% of them, significant exceedances of the maximum ceiling for both unleaded petrol and diesel were found, as well as non-registration of data in the Fuel Price Observatory, in breach of the relevant obligations. For these violations, administrative fines will be imposed on 13 service stations, totalling €65,000.
In parallel, last week, 8 service stations in the Attica region were found to be in significant violation of the law on fuel ceiling, and were fined a total of 40,000 euros.
Finally, a large warehouse of counterfeit goods (clothing and toys) was found in Rhodes, where more than 15 were seized.000 pieces, while administrative fines of 111,000 euros were imposed.
The Authority systematically controls the market and there will be no tolerance whatsoever for phenomena of unfair profiteering and illegal trafficking of products, the statement said.
