Maria Aliferi was seen on the J2US jury on Saturday night, in the new episode that aired through OPEN.
When Daniella Hatzis took to the stage, the beloved actress wanted to share a particularly touching personal story about her relationship with her father, Kostas Hatzis.
Getting the speech from the host and producer of the show, Nikos Koklonis, Maria Aliferi said:
“You won’t stop me with anything now, I’ll tell it all. Daniella, I want to say that I owe your father more than you can imagine. I have to say this, don’t cut me off, Nico.”
Then she described their meeting when she was still very young and a student, with no connection to the industry:
“I knock on his door in Scorpio and timidly tell him that I write lyrics and I only want him to interpret them. The way he embraced me, guided me and advised me was unique.”
As she stressed, Kostas Hatzis was a decisive person for her:
“He was the first person in Athens who really respected me and showed me the way. I owe him so much.”
Concluding, she did not hide her emotion:
“My gratitude and love for him is enduring. I am always touched when I think of him and I love him very much…”
