A man holding a chainsaw outside a family home in the Drymou area of Thessaloniki caused a disturbance in the area on Sunday afternoon. Residents reportedly alerted the police and strong police forces immediately rushed to the scene.

A mother and her minor children were inside the house.

The man did not have the chainsaw running.

The ELAS has proceeded with his arraignment and the man is being held at the Oraiokastro Police Station.
