In response to the report on the end of the Breakfast@Star show and Sissy Christidou’s statements, Giorgos Liagas expressed his annoyance at the attitude he said the show “Smile and Again” took towards rumours concerning him.
Sissy Christidou, commenting on the article, said that it would be good to have an official update from the channel first, although she described the report as valid.
After viewing her statements, Giorgos Liagas said he wondered why the same cautious attitude was not observed when a colleague of the show had stated with certainty that he had already signed a new three-year contract with ANT1.
The presenter argued that this was not the case and noted that when information that he denies is broadcast as factual, it gives the impression that he is misleading the public. He said he initially tried to deal with it with humour, but was eventually annoyed by the dimension the issue had taken.
In closing, he said he was visibly upset that he did not expect a different attitude from these people and asked for a change of topic of discussion on the show.
