Lambros Konstantaras made statements to the camera of the Weekend Live show and reporter Myrsini Kontou. The journalist and OPEN presenter spoke about this year’s TV season, while also referring to the recent “attacks” he has received from media people.
“I prefer to take stock at the end. I’m having a nice and creative time at the moment. This is the first time I am experiencing a whole season like this and I am enjoying it while thinking about the next steps,” he said initially.
Then, commenting on his relationships with colleagues, he said: “Our relationships are purely professional and that should apply to everyone. There is respect and the aim is to co-exist harmoniously on the show. The in-house not in-house, so I don’t want to elaborate. Everyone can say whatever they want. I wouldn’t talk that way about my colleagues. I’m not upset about anything, I just put everyone in the position I think they deserve,” he said in response to Aria Kalyva’s statements.
Finally, referring to the strong criticism she received, she clarified: “This is pure ‘burying’. It is not about professional criticism, but personal attacks. And this is neither innocent nor acceptable. Criticism in our work is normal, but when it touches on character and ethics, that’s where I don’t accept it easily.”
