A 17-year-old girl from Kozani, who was seriously injured in the head at dawn on Easter Sunday and has since been hospitalized at the Papanikolaou Hospital in Thessaloniki, where her health condition is improving.
This appears to be the conclusion of the spontaneous investigation being carried out by the police authorities into the incident. As known from the investigations so far, after a night out, the minor allegedly noticed a friend of hers arguing in a heated tone with her partner. Attempting to intervene to defuse the situation, the youth apparently pushed her friend away, who when she fell to the ground also dragged the 17-year-old, resulting in head injuries.
The minor initially returned home, but shortly afterwards she developed severe malaise and pains, so it was decided to transfer her to the “Mamatseio” General Hospital of Kozani. Due to the severity of her condition she was transferred to “Papanikolaou” in Thessaloniki, where she is being treated in the neurosurgery clinic.
According to reports, her health is steadily improving and when the situation allows, she will give a statement to the police officers.
