A particularly moving confession was made by Kostis Savidakis on Wednesday night (8/4) to Athinaida Nega and the show “Better Late”, talking about his faith. The experienced actor referred to the loss of his niece at the age of just seven years old, and described how he experienced that period.

“I’ve gone through and said ‘do you exist? We get pissed off about some things, it gets on our nerves and you say ‘why me?”,” he initially admitted.

And add: “I had lost my niece when she was seven years old. At the time I had booked a job at a children’s hotel in Crete and it had completely slipped my mind.”

A few days before the start of the season, he received a phone call that made him change his mind. “He calls me and says, ‘We’re waiting for you. I say ‘it can’t be done the way I am’… He brought me to philanthropy and I went. It was the greatest gift I got for the loss of the little one. With 220 little ones for almost three months. That’s where I said “do you exist?” Yes, there is. Somehow it softens the wounds. It doesn’t erase the wound.”
