A driver of a vehicle was arrested for illegal trafficking of migrants on a provincial road in Rodopi.
Police officers of the Sapos Border Guard Department of the Rhodope Police Directorate arrested yesterday the foreign driver I.X.E. car, in which they found six immigrants whom he attempted to transport illegally to the mainland. They also confiscated the vehicle and a mobile phone.
The arrested man will be taken to the prosecutor of the Rhodope Prosecutor’s Office while the preliminary investigation is being conducted by the Sapes Border Guard Department.
