Little before the premiere of ANT1’s new series “Super Heroes”, Yannis Bezos was a guest on the show “To Porino”, where he spoke about his work and current affairs.
Among other things, the well-known actor was asked to comment on Maria Karystianou, noting that he has not formed a clear opinion on her political positions. As he said, he believes that a clear programmatic discourse is missing on key issues such as the economy, education and national issues, which – according to him – makes any meaningful assessment difficult.
“I cannot criticise if I do not hear specific positions and goals,” she said, stressing that her positions so far have been at a general level.
Referring to Zoe Konstantopoulou, Yannis Bezos expressed a sharper view, referring to “extremes” in her public speech. As he noted, tension and constant denunciation may even weaken points on which there may be basis or justice.
At the same time, she acknowledged that her past stance has been consistent, recalling her departure from SYRIZA at a time when she could have stayed. “We have to give her credit for that, to be fair,” he concluded.
