Iran said it struck two military bases in Israel, in Novatim and Tol Nof, in the fiercest attacks the two sides have launched since a ceasefire was declared in early April.
“The operation was carried out in response to a missile attack launched by the Zionist regime (…) against several radar sites in three different areas” in Iran, the Revolutionary Guards, the elite corps of the Iranian armed forces, said in a statement.
Nevatim, in southern Israel, and Tel Nof, in central Israel, are two major bases.
The Revolutionary Guards stressed that they are ready for any scenario and for large-scale operations on all fronts, Fars Agency reported.
