Ioanna Soulioti spoke to the “Super Katerina” camera, opening up about personal issues such as her divorce, the hormonal changes of menopause, and her relationship with her children.
Referring to the menopause, she stressed that she is mainly frightened by the lack of information, noting that in society there is a lot of emphasis on puberty, while the corresponding stage of women often remains on the sidelines. She said menopause used to be seen almost as a “withdrawal” for women, something she would now like to change through more acceptance and less fear.
About her personal life, she explained that while her children were young, she didn’t feel ready to start a family again, as she didn’t want to confuse them about family relationships. As she added, that situation never progressed to anything different afterwards.
At the same time, she expressed her desire to relive love, saying she remains deeply attached to her children, who are now abroad for postgraduate studies, which is very touching.
Finally, she also spoke about her divorce from publisher Konstantinos Geros, noting that the first two years after a separation are always difficult, even when the decision is mutual. At the same time, she advised young people before marriage to have fully clarified their expectations and agreements with each other.
