Two men aged 32 and 25 were arrested in the early hours of the morning by police officers of the Velos team who spotted them driving two private cars on the Thessaloniki-Athens highway, carrying out impromptu speed races.
As it was found, the speed at which the cars were moving was 221 kilometers per hour while the speed limit for the area is 120 kilometers per hour.
Police said the 25-year-old was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.
