The arrest of a minor in Heraklion, for violations of the legislation on fireworks and fireworks and weapons, was made by police officers of the Malevizi Police Station, as part of the special planning and actions developed by the General Regional Police Directorate of Crete to prevent accidents from the illegal possession, manufacture, trafficking, marketing and use of firecrackers, flares and fireworks, in view of the Easter holidays.
The arrest was made after a search of the juvenile’s home, where 17 firecrackers, a flash gun, 2 magazines, 2 naval flares were found and seized.
Also, a 53-year-old domestic woman, guardian of the minor, was arrested for neglect of supervision. The arrested persons will be taken to the competent prosecution authority, while the preliminary investigation is being carried out by the Malevizi Police Department.
