The case of the abuse of a 3-year-old girl from Crete, who is hospitalized in serious condition, has caused horror.
As noted by the spokeswoman of the EL.Speaking to ERT today, the mother of the child has been arrested, while the authorities are looking for the man who has been declared the father of the child.
It all started when the little girl lost consciousness on a playground. Upon examination by doctors, she was found to have multiple injuries to her body, leading to the assessment that it was an incident of abuse.
According to Ms Demoglidou, the child was “described as quite abused by the treating doctors”, while a forensic examination is expected to clarify the timing of the injuries.
