The accident occurred on Monday (25/5), shortly after 4pm:00, in the area of Panagiuda, when the motorcycle in which the two young people were riding veered off course, under as yet unclear circumstances.
Police forces, an ambulance of the EKAB and men of the Greek Fire Brigade immediately rushed to the scene, but it was already too late for the two young men.
According to initial reports, the children were returning from a walk before the accident occurred. The Mytilene Traffic Police is conducting a preliminary investigation to determine the exact cause of the tragedy.
