This Friday morning, on the order of the financial prosecutor, the Greek FBI is conducting searches of the home and office of the President of the General Confederation of Greek Economy, Yannis Panagopoulos, in the case of the alleged misappropriation of national and European funds intended for programs of the General Confederation.
According to reports, the investigations are not only limited to the home and office of Yannis Panagopoulos but also to the companies with which the GSEE had made contracts.
Still, the investigations have been extended to Thessaloniki, in the presence of a prosecutor.
