Glyfada: Three foreigners with full face arrested – They threw a hammer, a knife and a pistol at the police

Three foreigners moving with their faces covered were arrested on a street in Glyfada.

The statement of the Hellenic Police:

The police officers of the IS.AS./G.A.D.A. Group arrested in the evening hours of 3-4-2026, in the area of Glyfada, 3-foreigners, aged 32, 36 and 37 years old, and a case file was formed against them by the Sub-Directorate for the Investigation and Detection of Crimes of South-Eastern Attica for violation of the legislation on weapons and threats.

In particular, the above police officers found a suspicious vehicle with the defendants on board, which had been parked for some time on a street in Glyfada.

Then, the defendants exited the vehicle, covering their faces and in order to frustrate the police check, they produced a hammer, a knife and a pistol, however they were immobilized and after a search they were found in their possession and seized:

a “full face”
bag
a plastic air pistol magazine,
a metal cylinder for reloading an air pistol,
geolocation device (GPS),
the sum of EUR -1,000; and
-4- mobile phones.
The arrested persons were taken to the competent public prosecutor.
