A fire has broken out in a forested area in Methana. According to the Fire Department, the fire started around 12:07 p.m. and does not threaten any residential areas.

To extinguish it, 23 firefighters were mobilized along with a foot patrol team from the 9th EMOE, 6 vehicles, 4 aircraft, and a helicopter.
