The District Attorney’s Office has filed a series of felony and misdemeanor charges against the elderly perpetrator of the armed attack at the NFKA and the Court of First Instance yesterday morning.
The charges against the elderly man, which include three felonies and a number of misdemeanors, are:
-Attempted Serial Homicide
-Certain case of unlawful carrying of a firearm inside a courthouse
-Detailed case of unlawful carrying of a firearm
-Concurrent possession of a firearm
-Unlawful carrying of a firearm for a port-a-potty with intent
-Unlawful possession of ammunition and cartridges
-Unlawful possession of weapons, (knives and replica)
-Disrupting the operation of the department in a continuing manner and
-Threatening to commit crimes.
The 89-year-old man yesterday morning, with a shotgun, wounded an employee of the NFCA,who remains hospitalized, and then wounded four other employees of the Court of First Instance.
