An elderly woman was rescued unconscious during a fire extinguishing operation at dawn in an apartment in Ptolemaida.

According to the Fire Service, the woman was taken by an ambulance of the EKAB.

The fire broke out around 4:50 a.m. in a second-floor apartment. Four firefighters with two vehicles operated at the scene.
