The tension on the set of Just the 2 of Us continues, with personal barbs now overshadowing purely artistic comments. In the most recent episode, the confrontation between Stamatis Fassoulis and Efi Thodi escalated, with statements becoming even more pointed.
The new tension began when Yannis Zouganelis commented to Efi Thodi that the judges have no bias against her and are simply expressing their opinion. The singer replied that she “loves” Stamatis Fassoulis, with him responding in a stern tone: “We have our own style too, not just you – don’t question it.”
Then Stamatis Fassoulis became even sharper, saying: “Ms Thodi, you may be first in the festivals, but here you are not the best there is. Like me, you have been chosen by Mr Coclonis and I have an obligation to judge you. In fact, because of your course, I have treated you quite leniently – I could have been much harsher.”
