Fanis Lambropoulos spoke to the camera of the show To Porino with Giorgos Liagas, as seen on ANT1 on May Day.

The well-known presenter referred both to the progress of his late night show in the ratings this season, and his plans for the future of television.

More specifically, he first said, “We’re making a show for the people, not for us. In the end we are judged by the outcome. The point is to keep getting better and better. When things don’t go well, you start to push yourself.”

Then he added: “I can’t help but look at the numbers, but I feel there is confidence in me, which I receive every day. I have not yet had any discussions about next season as my contract ends in June. I know the show will continue until then. And, given the circumstances, we’re doing well – especially considering we originally agreed to 20 episodes.”

Fanis Lambropoulos also commented on the work of Nancy Zambetoglou and Thanasis Anagnostopoulos, saying they “do some of the most beautiful and relaxing interviews I’ve seen on television.”
