With a view to decongesting the market and providing the best possible service to citizens, shops have adopted more flexible and extended opening hours to meet the increased consumer needs of the Easter season. These changes, which are already in place, will last until noon on Holy Saturday, making it easier for those who left their shopping to the last minute.
Special care is being taken for Good Friday, a day when trading activity traditionally starts later, with shops opening after 1pm. Similarly, Easter Monday is designated as a public holiday, meaning shops will be closed across the country.
