Daphne Bokota commented this Thursday morning (7/5) on Super Katerina on this year’s participation of Akylas in Eurovision 2026, expressing her optimism for Greece’s performance in this year’s contest.
“Why not make it? We have what it takes to make it. We will make it. We will have a very, very good position,” Daphne Bokota said.
However, she made it clear that she did not want to put any more pressure on Greece’s representative. “I’m not going to say ‘we’ll get it’, ‘we’ll bring it’ this year and so on, because I don’t want to put any more weight on this man’s shoulders. It’s a big burden there. Let’s not put everything on him,” he said.
At the same time, he said the desire for a major accolade is evident across the country. “It is visible that we want to get it. We all want it, the whole country wants to get it. Not just ERT,” Daphne Bokota said of this year’s Greek participation in Eurovision.
