Danae Barka spoke to the “Rainbow Mermaids” podcast and revealed the behind-the-scenes story behind the cancellation of her show, “Pame Danae.”

“It was my most difficult moment. I think we had 25 shows. If Vangelis Marinakis hadn’t supported the show, we wouldn’t have been able to have these 4-5 years of writing our own show.

I have a lot of complaints and injustices though, I could talk with examples and numbers, but I don’t think I need to. People in the industry know what we did right.”

“I found out three days before how to my colleagues,” he continued, “I wanted to tell it, I have to get permission to tell this story. We made the appointment and we were told we were “saying goodbye” May 9, which was supposed to end in June.

I hear about it and we’re with the team. One of them being drunk, not knowing what to do, I didn’t know who to call, I called my neighbor and told him to take me home. Then I called our priest friend, and said ‘come and read to us’.”
