Lola Daifa has spoken openly about her difficult battle with breast cancer, describing the moments of her diagnosis and the strength she drew from her daughter. As she explained, at the time she continued to work normally, even wearing a wig, trying to maintain her daily routine without letting the disease get the better of her.
She recalled that when she first visited the doctor, she was in a hurry to complete the examination so that she could return to her work commitments. However, the conversation took a different turn when she was clearly informed that she had to deal with breast cancer. Although she admitted she was very scared, she said her biggest worry was not about herself but about her daughter, who was still young and had already lost her father.
She confessed that her daughter’s presence was crucial. As soon as she heard the news, she immediately travelled from America to be by her mother’s side in hospital. Lola Daifa said that without that support it would have been much harder for her to bear what she went through.
At the same time, she referred to her acquaintance with Gogo Mastrokosta, stressing that she remembers her as a very optimistic person who believed that she would be able to overcome her health adventure. She expressed her deep sorrow for her loss, describing her story as very painful.
She also made a special reference to her husband, Trajan Della, Gogo Mastrokosta, saying that he has always stood by her side with dedication and strength. At the same time, he wished that he and their daughter would gradually find the strength to continue their lives keeping alive the memory and love they shared with her.
