Tragedy struck at the Dafni psychiatric hospital in the early hours of the morning when a 59-year-old inmate died after a fight with a fellow inmate.
According to SKAI, the two men were in the same room and for an unknown reason began arguing.
The tempers flared and the 48-year-old man attacked the 59-year-old inmate and strangled him.
The staff at the institution heard the commotion and immediately rushed to the room, but unfortunately it was too late for the 59-year-old man.
The 48-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is in the hands of authorities.
