A citizen was arrested yesterday in Chania for drug-related offences and police officers seized, among other things, cannabis, cocaine, hallucinogenic mushrooms and MDMA crystal powder.
More specifically, yesterday at noon, in an area of the Municipality of Chania, police officers of the Department of Drug Control of the Sub-Directorate for the Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes of Chania, after exploiting evidence, with the assistance of the Crime Prevention and Suppression Team of Chania, conducted a search at the house of 28-year-old, after information that he is active in the trafficking of quantities of drugs.
During the search 45 grams of cocaine, 130 grams of raw cannabis, 16 grams of processed cannabis (chocolate paste), 3.9 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms were found and seized, a small quantity of MDMA crystal powder, 2 homemade cigarettes with a mixture of tobacco and raw cannabis, a precision electronic scale and the sum of 800 euros as proceeds of illegal activities.
The arrested man will be led to the appropriate authorities with the preliminary investigation being carried out by the Department of Drug Control of the Sub-Directorate of Crime Prevention and Investigation of Chania.
