Baya Antonopoulou was a guest on the show Noriis Nori, who spoke about her pregnancy, her TV career and her past collaboration with George Papadakis.
The journalist, shortly before giving birth to her first child, recalled her first appearances on Kalimera Ellada in 2011, saying that today she feels like she is seeing a completely different person. At the same time, she noted that the show is inextricably linked to George Papadakis and that nothing is the same without him.
Referring to their collaboration, Baya Antonopoulou admitted that there were tensions that led to her departure at the time, but over time they maintained good relations. Despite the difficulties, she acknowledged the presenter’s professionalism and experience, stressing that he knew more than few people what the TV audience was interested in and how to handle current affairs.
She also confessed that although she misses the excitement of big news and the adrenaline rush of reporting, she does not miss the stress of everyday television and the battle for ratings. As she said, over the years, her perspective on television has changed and she now considers meaningful content and social issues more important than excessive preoccupation with gossip and lifestyle news.
