The arrest of a 45-year-old foreigner, against whom a life sentence for rape of a minor was pending, was made in the afternoon of May 8 by police officers, as part of a targeted operation in the area of Agios Panteleimon.
According to Greek police, the 45-year-old man was convicted in a case of rape of a minor that occurred in May 2023 in the area of Omonia. The 45-year-old had threatened the victim with a letter opener and had filmed the act.
The 45-year-old was taken to the relevant prosecutor.
