Today, Thursday, April 30, an arrest warrant was issued by the prosecutor against the 59-year-old man accused of assaulting the 22-year-old girl in Pagrati over a parking space.
According to reports, the magistrate handling the case of the unthinkable attack in Pagrati prosecuted the man for grievous bodily harm and reportedly instructed police authorities to arrest him.
The 59-year-old has so far not been found, with police authorities trying to track him down.
Recall that the incident occurred around 15:00 on Saturday (25.04.2026) at Aristoxenou Street in Pagrati. According to the data so far, the 59-year-old man attacked the young girl when she tried to unpark her vehicle, accusing her of delaying him from his work.
So, he began punching her in the face while throwing her to the ground, causing her to injure her leg and require a splint.
The 22-year-old was taken to hospital where she was given first aid.
