Apostolos Gletsos was at Studio 4 on Monday 20/4 afternoon and spoke with Nancy Zambetoglou and Thanasis Anagnostopoulos. The experienced actor returns to the theatre stage after 12 years and stresses that he is “repainting from scratch”, while he does not hide his anxiety about how the audience will welcome him.
“I need it so badly, psychologically. I’ve had suggestions over the years, but I’ve been involved elsewhere. With politics, it wasn’t happening. The last time I did theatre might have been 12 years ago. Now I wanted to get back to my work, the work I love, and it’s like being repainted all over again.”
