“Very great is my excitement and joy. At this moment we are taking all of Greece with us in our hearts,” Akylas said today in his statements from El. Venizelos” a few minutes before departing for Vienna where he will represent our country in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest with “Ferto”.
As he told the cameras, he is very excited that the time has finally come to “fly” to Austria. “The most precious message of the song is to never stop chasing your dreams and to love yourself a little bit more. The song is dedicated to my mother. We’re a very close-knit group and I hope these relationships that have been formed during this time will last.”
In regards to the bets that currently have him in second place, he replied:
“To tell you the truth, my mood went up more, I shone. We’ll see from the rehearsals and then what happens.”
