A thriller unfolded on Friday night, April 3 on Angeliki Nikolouli’s show, when a phone call “froze” everyone.

While searching for the traces of 47-year-old music composer Akis Axiotis, who has been missing since March 25, a man who knew Akis since their childhood called.

“May I speak to Ms Nikolouli? For Lefteris Axiotis from Agia Paraskevi. The child has probably died, I was told,” he said on the phone.

“Mrs. Angeliki, contact the Menidi police station. Don’t let his mom know anything. The police picked up Lefterakis in Menidi. Is it possible that they haven’t contacted his mother? That was Thursday, according to the man who saw him, but it could have been Wednesday. I saw Amber Alert in Placentia on Sunday and a lad who was with him told me what had happened. He had ended up,” he pointed out.

The witness was emphatic in continuing: “The police went and took him away. We can’t be wrong because we know Lefteris since he was a little boy. I have two years difference with Lefteris. I was thinking of going through his mother but I thought they would have informed her. Don’t tell her anything now and drive the woman over there crazy but it’s 1000% sure. I wouldn’t even call to get into that process and I have a child.”
