A man was arrested in an area of Aigio, carrying more than 32 kilos of cannabis.
Specifically, according to the police, men of the OCPKE, of the Aigialia Crime Investigation and Detection Department, spotted the accused driving a car and stopped him for control.
During the check, 32 kilograms and 284 grams of cannabis, divided into six packages, were found in the car.
The illegal pecuniary benefit that the accused would have gained from the trafficking of drugs reaches, according to the police, up to 968,000 euros.
The arrested man, against whom a case was filed for drug trafficking and possession, will be brought to the prosecutor of Aigio, while police officers of the Aigialia Crime Investigation and Detection Department continue to investigate the case.
