Today, Tuesday 28/4, the 20-year-old man, who has already confessed to killing the 27-year-old son of an ELAS officer at the Park of the Unarmed in Agios Dimitrios, is expected to enter a plea.

As noted in the ANT1 report, the shooter is expected to claim that he had the knife to defend himself. In fact, he has portrayed the 27-year-old’s murder as a spur-of-the-moment act without intent.

“I want to apologize once again. My reaction was instantaneous, I was blinded by some of the things I heard and I bitterly regret my reaction. My child and I were together, she had nothing to do with this and she didn’t even know I was meeting the 27-year-old, nor did she know I had the knife with me,” the 20-year-old allegedly claimed.

According to his defense attorney, the 20-year-old had the knife on him because he was afraid. In addition, the defendants’ lawyers claim they were unaware for at least an hour and a half that the blow was fatal.
