‘The digital application process for the flat-rate VAT refund at a flat rate of 6% to farmers under the special scheme has started. The procedure applies to documents issued in 2025, in accordance with the decision 1029/2023 of the Governor of AADE, Giorgos Pitsilis.
As announced by the Independent Public Revenue Authority, eligible farmers can submit their application for reimbursement of the claimed amount through the myAADE digital portal (myaade.gov.gr) under Applications > Business > myBusinessSupport > My Applications > VAT refund to farmers under special scheme (Article 48 of the VAT Code) – Reference Year 2025.
Specifically, when completing the application:
; the documents transmitted to the myDATA platform by the contracting parties (purchasers of products or recipients of services) of the beneficiary farmer of the special scheme are automatically retrieved,
; upon completion of the application and confirmation of the displayed data, the system calculates the final amount claimed for reimbursement.
Reimbursements will be made at regular intervals, in two ways:
– Credit to the IBAN account registered by the beneficiary in the “Register & Contact” section of the myAADE digital portal.
– Set-off against any debts of the beneficiary.
It is noted that in 2025, the third year of application of the above digital procedure, 120,565 applications were submitted, with the total amount of reimbursement amounting to 35,367,928 euros.
The process will remain open for applications exclusively until December 15, 2026.
